    Docteur et Chercheur au Labo IDEAT de l´Université Paris 1 - Panthéon - Sorbonne je suis spécialisé sur l´histoire et les pratiques photographiques en Europe Centrale et Orientale. Je réalise des commissariats d´expositions, des articles, des photoreportages. Chaque année je participe au jury de la revue des portfolios du Mois de la Photographie de Bratislava, voici le site www.sedf.sk

    Ce site vous informe spécialement et gratuitement sur
     la photographie en Europe Centrale et Orientale, les "Pays de l' Est". La rubrique "liens" est volontairement large pour les acteurs francophones de la photographie dans ces pays.   • Ce mois de la photographie...doit nous faire penser aux photographes quin disparaissent en raison de la gratuité toujours plus grande des images qui circulent en DR, droits réservés.

    Il est temps que le juridique occupe beaucoup plus de place pour les acteurs, les petits acteurs de terrain de la photographie, pas toujours uniquement les grandes institutions...Il doit y avoir harmonie et symbiose!

    Au sujet de la maison Européenne de la photographie il faut noter le remarquable projet de mise en ligne numérique de tous les documents...Il sera possible de tout consulter depuis chez soi. Gratuitement...

    L´exposition présente les photographies des étudiants et de quelques professeurs de l´Académie des Beaux-Arts et du Design de Bratislava autour de cinq notions-clés. Espace, surface, intimité, identité, communauté, notions qui peuvent être comprises comme des „mutations“ plus générales et surtout plus ouvertes des genres photographiques classiques présentant un paysage, une nature morte, un nu et un portrait, et enfin un document classique. Les quatre thèmes mentionnés et leur classification en genres déterminent le plan de l´exposition - la succession et l´enchaînement des objets exposés. Bien qu‘il semble que l´exposition ne sorte pas des sentiers battus, elle pose plus clairement les limites de la photographie grâce à de „petites cases“ correspondant à des notions plus générales qui sont plus en accord avec les sujets et les tendances formelles de la photographie actuelle. L’exposition compte une centaine de clichés de 18 auteurs, agencée en un cercle imaginaire de l´espace (paysage)

    Portfolio Review is one of the festival's most important and popular program for fledgling and professional photographers. The two days of Portfolio Review presents an unforgettable opportunity for artists using photography to have their work seen by some of the most important personalities in the field of photography. The Bratislava Month of Photography brings photography professionals, magazine editors, museum curators, gallery owners, representatives of photography agencies, collectors and publishers from all around the world to meet with photographers, review their work and find new names for their networks. 

    This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Portfolio Review. We have changed the place of event to make a better possibility of communication amongst the participants. The final projection of the 15 best portfolios (chosen by SEDF) is also a new element of this event.
